Version 1.1 (c) 2006 by Markku Pirttijärvi
The GRAPRISM program can be used to model the anomalous gravity field of a single 3-D dipping prism. The computation is based on the solution by S.-E. Hjelt (1972).
The GRAPRISM program can be run on a PC with 32-bit Windows 9x/NT4/ 2000/XP operating system and a graphics display of at least 1024x768 resolution. Memory requirements and processor speed and are not critical, since large data arrays are not used and the potential field solution is fast to compute even on older computers. The GRAPRISM program has a simple graphical user interface (GUI) that can be used to change the parameter values, to handle file input and output, and to visualize the field and the model. The user interface and the data visualization are based on the DISLIN graphics library.
Download the GRAPRISM.ZIP package (500 kB).
The program requires following files:
GRAPRISM.EXE the executable file
DISDLL.DLL DLL for DISLIN graphics
The distribution file (GRAPRISM.ZIP) contains user's manual (GRAPRISM_MANU.PDF). To be able to read the manual you should have Adobe's free Acrobat Reader program. To install the program just unzip (Pkzip/Winzip) the distribution files into a new folder. If you wish, create a program shortcut on the desktop. To be able to start the program from a shortcut that locates in a different directory move or copy the DISDLL DLL file into the WINDOWS\SYSTEM folder or somewhere where a path always exists.
User's guide (GRAPRISM_MANU.PDF) (70 kB).
Although the program is quite old, this initial version was released in July 4, 2006.
